Fairfield Early Learning Centre

Welcome to Fairfield ELC

At Fairfield Early Learning Centre, we are a trusted, family-owned service with over 30 years’ experience providing high-quality education and care for children aged six weeks to school age.

Our experienced, qualified educators – many of whom have previously worked within our existing centres – provide a safe, nurturing environment, bringing a strong understanding of our practices to ensure a seamless, confident start for children as they explore, learn, and grow.

Through a play-based, inquiry-led approach, we foster curiosity, creativity, and early STEM learning while supporting communication, wellbeing, and early literacy and numeracy.

We also offer enriched experiences including art, language exposure, mindfulness, movement, and cooking programs.

We will offer government approved 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten programs, helping children build strong foundations for school through engaging, play-based learning.

With vacancies available we are now taking enrolments for 2026 — secure your place early and join our growing Fairfield community.

Our philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, guiding the way we learn, play, connect and grow together each day. Developed in partnership with children, families, developmental experts, and experienced early childhood educators, it reflects our shared belief that meaningful learning happens through strong relationships, thoughtful environments, and a deep connection to community and nature. Grounded in respect, curiosity and collaboration, our approach values children as capable and active participants in their own learning.

Playground to Plate Program Banner

Playground to Plate®

Food Garden Program

Delivered by a professional garden educator, Playground to Plate® is an engaging food garden program designed to help children build a positive, hands-on relationship with food from infancy through to school age. Inspired by the simple joy of growing up in grandparents’ gardens, picking tomatoes straight from the vine, digging in the soil, and learning through nature, the program brings those same timeless experiences into early childhood learning. Children are encouraged to plant, nurture, harvest, and share, developing not only an understanding of where food comes from, but also a deep sense of connection, curiosity, and care for the natural world.
